Aged 14, Samuel Bottomley has already appeared in BAFTA award winning drama Tyrannosaur and a UK feature film called Private Peaceful. Recently appearing alongside Rafe Spall in US TV drama Sons of Liberty and is currently filming a new flagship ITV period drama Jericho where Samuel has a leading role.

Happy to be chosen to shoot headshots for another talented actor from Manchester School of Theatre Declan O’connor. Like most of the guys at MST Declan chose our very popular Get Ahead actor headshot photography package and here is the images we made together.
Declan was born and bread in the Ribble Valley and after attending Runshaw College to complete a BTEC Extended Diploma in the Professional Performance Programme, he is now in his third and final year of a BA(Hons) acting degree at the Manchester School of Theatre.
He has had a passion for acting from a very early age attending amateur drama schools throughout his adolescent years, performing in a variety of roles in numerous and diverse amateur productions. Here he gained the confidence and determination that built the foundations of his acting. Declan has been lucky enough to work in several professional performances whilst at Manchester School of theatre which include, Presenting in Benjamin Brittens the Young Persons Guide to the Orchestra with the internationally acclaimed Halle Orchestra, as well as performing in The Oresteia at the HOME MCR theatre.
As this was the first time I have ever had professional headshots taken, the whole prospect of having my picture taken under bright lights was rather daunting. The thought of having your whole persona captured in one click of a button seemed near impossible. From the get go, Colin put me at ease with his charm and professionalism. His dedication and passion is shown through his work. He is a true perfectionist, constantly tweaking lights and lenses to capture that perfect picture. Above all this, he makes you relax with his friendly attitude and chilled out persona. I hope to work with Colin again in the near future.
Completing her diploma in Performing Arts, Katie went straight onto her first job..in Paris! From there she has spent the last 5 years all over Asia with different theatre and model work. Recently moved back to her home town, she’s signed with Lime Management and is extremely eager and exited at all the possibilities that await her in sunny old Manchester!
As a model, i’m not used to paying for photos and naturally I was scouring the internet in search of the cheapest deal I could get… And then I stumbled onto Neilson Reeves Photography. I didn’t even look at the prices I just knew I HAD to have headshots taken by Colin – they’re all such a real stand out from the rest! My morning with Colin was so great, I enjoyed every second.
