James began his acting career over a decade ago, having previously worked as an interior designer.  He started with a course at the Norwich Theatre Royal and was subsequently asked to play a role in a production of Richard III.

He acted in various plays in Norwich, including a two man production that had never been performed before.  His passion for acting grew, and he started getting parts in student films and short films.  Screen acting soon became his primary focus, and he undertook various courses exploring the art of acting on camera.

He has starred in numerous short films, feature films, TV and commercials.  During lockdown James began creating his own experimental short films, with himself as the only actor, which have gone on to win awards in festivals around the world.
